DOUGLAS COUNTY – The decision on whether or not to allow the KC Pumpkin Patch to move to land just north of Wellsville has been delayed for two weeks. The Lawrence Journal-World reports Douglas County commissioners want to give attorneys for both sides more time to negotiate conditions that would limit the size and scope of the enterprise. Kirk and Julie Berggren want to move the KC Pumpkin Patch from its current location in Gardner to a 40-acre site along K-33 in Palmyra Township, about a mile and a half north of the Franklin County line.
