BALDWIN CITY — Organizers say this year’s Maple Leaf Festival attendance was up and that vendors reported a strong uptick in sales. They said although Friday night was rained out and Sunday traffic was a bit slower, Saturday smashed all expectations. This year’s attendance was approximately 30,000 for the two days. Organizers said many vendors were close to selling out merchandise Saturday and had to restock Sunday.
