OTTAWA – The quest to build a new-and-improved industrial park in Franklin Founty is on-going, but those orchestrating the project are keeping tight-lipped. Jeff Seymour, the executive director of the Franklin County Development Council, is one of them. Seymour says some of the possible options for land has been narrowed down, but he is non-specific about the acreage involved. Seymour says some of the next steps in the project include the sharing of legal fees among the involved parties, such as the City of Ottawa and Franklin County.
