SALINA — Santa Fe Trail is the 4-A, Division II state volleyball champions.
In the finals Saturday, the Chargers beat Frontenac 25-22, 25-13, and beat Wichita-Trinity in the championship 25-16, 23-25 and 25-18. Louisburg came in second in the 4-A, Division I, state volleyball tournament Saturday. The Wildcats beat Chanute 25-22, 18-25 and 25-22 in the semifinals. Bishop Miege beat Louisburg in the state championship match 25-16, 18-25 and 25-22.
