BALDWIN CITY — Baker University students won national awards at the recent Associated Collegiate Press and College Media Association national convention.
Baker Orange staffers Kayla Infanti and Lauren Bechard placed first in the multimedia sports category for the story “High Risk Sports.” Bechard, who is from Gardner, also received three honorable mentions. Tera Lyons and Xiomara Nunez received honorable mention in multimedia sports for their package on a Baker student who competes on the Kansas City Roller Derby team. Taylor Shuck received honorable mention in multimedia feature on the Interterm.
