GARNETT — Five people have been arrested in connection with a recent drug bust in Westphalia. The Anderson County Review reported three of those people appeared in court this week and have been charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. They are Rachelle Lynne Robertson, 21, Leroy; James Myers, 57, Iola; and Bonnie Rae Shively, 21, New Strawn. Anderson County Sheriff Vern Valentine told the Review that Anderson and Coffey county deputies and Garnett and Burlington police officers found methamphetamine, marijuana and about $3,800 in cash during a search of a Westphalia home Nov. 5.
