OTTAWA–We have yet to see a major snowstorm this winter, but it’s bound to happen. That also causes a lot of people to ask when their street will get cleared. Ottawa Public Works Director Andy Haney says the number one priority is to clear major highways and streets leading to hospitals and schools. He said no one in the city should be more than one or two streets away from a cleared arterial or collector street, he said. Residential streets are cleared as soon as possible after that.
