OTTAWA — All or the first half of real estate property taxes are due Friday. Taxes may be paid at the treasurer’s office, mailed, left in the drop-box at the courthouse or on-line, County Treasurer Debbie Hough said. Those who come into the office probably won’t face long lines, she said. Many taxpayers and nearly all mortgage companies opt to pay half, she said. The second half tax payment is due on or before May 10th.
