OTTAWA — A 14-year old Pomona boy was treated at Ransom Memorial Hospital for a gunshot wound Sunday morning. The teen was hunting rabbits on his family’s property in rural Franklin County when he accidentally shot himself in his right foot with a small caliber rifle, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said. The sheriff’s office described the injuries to his big toe as minor.
