OVERBROOK — The Overbrook Library moved into its new building Monday. Aided by a $740,000 donation from the Claudie and Glen Norton Trust, the community raised about $450,000, picked up $400,000 in a Community Development Block Grant and a $100,000 donation from the Jones Foundation. Volunteers helped move the library’s books and equipment from its old building. The new building offers an expanded space both for books and community meetings, better access for disabled patrons, and improved computer and internet service. A grand opening event will be Feb. 8.
