PAOLA – Spaces remain available for tonight’s winter beef management seminar tonight at 5 at the Paola Presbyterian Lighthouse Church, Miami County Extension agricultural and natural resources agent Cody Sloan said. The seminar features some of the top Kansas State Extension cattle experts, including Bob Weaber, Jaymelynn Farney, Larry Hollis and Dale Blasi. The seminar will allow plenty of time for questions from those who attend, Sloan said. The seminar, which is $10 per person, is hosted by Miami, Linn and Johnson counties’ Extension offices and is open to anyone. The seminar will include a barbecue dinner served by K&M Smokehouse, Spring Hill.
