OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department investigated a report of a trucking tussle Wednesday evening. Russell Grove, 47, Helderberg, N.Y., reported that Paul Bullington, 54, Fort scott, cut him off and his semi-truck side-swiped Grove’s semi truck on I-35 near the U.S. 59 interchange in southern Ottawa. Bullington told deputies he didn’t know he struck Russell’s semi truck and kept on driving along I-35. Deputies said they received different stories from both drivers about what happened. No citations were issued. However, their trucking companies were notified.
