OSAWATOMIE – Gov. Sam Brownback and Department for Aging and Disability Services secretary Shawn Sullivan have scheduled a press conference at Osawatomie State Hospital this afternoon to announce what Brownback administration officials call good economic news for Osawatomie related to the hospital, and to talk about improvements in the delivery of mental health care services in northeast Kansas. Brownback and Sullivan have also scheduled an earlier press conference in Kansas City to discuss the future of the Rainbow Mental Health facility in Kansas City. There’s no reference in that announcement about good news for the Rainbow center.
