OTTAWA — Ottawa police received reports this weekend of burglaries at businesses in the city. Burglaries damaged a door and broke into El Sol, at 210 S Main St., where they stole items. Police said burglars damaged a window and got in through it at Poncho’s, 429 S. Main St., where they stole items. Construction Materials, Inc., 113 E. First, burglars broke in to the business and stole several items. A 81-year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole items from his store at 120 S. Main St. In addition, a 29-year-old Baldwin City man reported burglars entered his storage facility in the 100 block of East Fifth street and stole items, and a 30 year-old Ottawa man reported someone stole his barbeque smoking grill from the 500 block of West 18th Street.
