LYNDON — The Lyndon school district will host two public meetings this week concerning a proposed school bond issue. The meetings are tonight and Thursday night at 7 at the school. The school buildings will also be open to the public tonight and Thursday night at 5:30 and tours will be given. The proposal includes building three domes for classrooms, gymnasium and other spaces. The domes, which are resistant to tornadoes and severe weather, would serve as storm shelters. The $12.3 million proposal includes safety improvements and is designed to minimize the number of times students cross Sixth Street.
