POMONA — The West Franklin school board has picked the superintendent and principal at Crest-Colony to be their new superintendent. Jerry Turner has been superintendent and principal at Crest four years. Turner takes over a district which saw turmoil last year because of a failed bond election. West Franklin board president Jackie Robbins said Turner will be a good fit for the district and should be able to help heal rifts in the district. Turner will succeed Dotson Bradbury, who is retiring June 30.
