OTTAWA–Spring is only about 3 weeks away, and with that comes severe weather season. During a severe storm spotting class at Celebration Hall, Meteorologist Audra Hennecke from the Topeka National Weather Service Office warned that in times of threatening storms, go to the lowest floor, the most interior room, and cover your body. During lightning storms, stay away from electrical equipment and all sources of water.
