TOPEKA – Spring may soon be upon us, but Old Man Winter will make another appearance this weekend. That’s according to the National Weather service, which is predicting as much as six to eight inches of snow will fall in some parts of Kansas. NWS Lead Forecaster Brian Barjenbrook says the heaviest snow will fall late Saturday night into Sunday morning. For the Ottawa area, the National Weather Service predicting a mixture of sleet and snow. Winds will blow at a constant 20+ miles per hour. A winter storm watch will be in effect for the entire KOFO listening area from Saturday evening through late Sunday night.
