OTTAWA–If you’re a landlord, here’s some news that might affect you. If a tenant complains about poor quality housing, the city will give you 30 days to fix the problem. If it’s a serious problem, you’ll need to fix it right away. Director of Planning and Codes Wyndee Lee says failure to fix the problem in a timely manner could result in the issuance of a ticket.
