LECOMPTON — The Lecompton Reenactors will present their frequently-staged play “Bleeding Kansas Characters” Sunday afternoon at 2 at Constitution Hall State Historic Site, Lecompton. The acting troupe will portray notable people from the Bleeding Kansas era as they discuss slavery, an issue that created a civil war in territorial Kansas and ignited the American Civil War. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for students. Kansas Historical Foundation members and children five and younger are free.
