GARDNER — A Gardner Democrat has filed for the 43rd District of the Kansas House of Representatives. Caitlin Trujillo will challenge conservative incumbent Bill Sutton. Trujillo is a 2008 graduate of Gardner-Edgerton High school, where she was named to the National Honor Society and the Academic Hall of Fame. She graduated from Brown University in 2012 with a degree in political science, with special interest in American politics and constitutional law.
