OTTAWA–The recent school finance bill signed by Governor Brownback is designed to increase aid to public schools. That however is news to the Ottawa School District. Superintendent Jeanne Stroh told the school board that under various provisions, the district would actually lose $56. She says however there’s a lot of details to be figured out and how it will affect Ottawa schools.
