OTTAWA — An Ottawa father who was convicted of endangering his two-year-old son has begun serving a 30-day sentence in the Franklin County jail. Justin Vogeler will also have probation of one year after he serves his sentence. Vogeler was charged after his son was found wandering in the street a block away from his home in July. Ottawa police said the boy walked away from Vogeler’s house after he left the house and his two children. An adult roommate in the home was asleep and unaware the children were there or that one child had left.
