PAOLA — The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded an overnight boil order for the city of Paola. The KDHE tested water samples from the water system and found no contaminants, and said Paola city water is safe for consumption. The city issued the boil order Tuesday night after water pressure in the city’s water system dropped after a pressure relief valve malfunctioned. The city fixed the problem and restored pressure to the water system.
