OTTAWA — One hundred students will receive Bachelor’s Degrees and 14 will receive Master’s Degrees at Ottawa University’s 149th commencement Saturday morning at 11 at Fredrikson Chapel.
Ottawa University professor Emeritus doctor Karen Mitchell will give the commencement address titled “Hope has Two Beautiful Daughters.”
Trustees President Hank Scherich will confer the degrees to the graduates.
OU Dean of Instruction Teresa Kriley will present honorary master degrees to faculty members Jeffrey McCreight and Julie Noonan.
A reception for the graduates will immediately follow on the mall, between the Administration building and Ward Science Hall.
It won’t be the last commencement at Fredrikson Chapel.
Commencement for graduates of OU’s Kansas City program will be May 31 at the chapel. 5:30pm Thursday May 8
