OTTAWA — The Ransom Memorial Hospital board of trustees have reached an agreement on who will become the hospital’s next chief executive office. The trustees met in executive session Monday night but didn’t make a formal decision. However, they agreed who would be the top candidate to succeed long-time CEO Larry Felix. Trustees chair Phil Gibson said the board will not announce the name or release any other information regarding the candidate until an employment agreement has been reached. The process won’t be complete until the board votes to accept the employment agreement at an open meeting, he said. Gibson said he expects that vote should happen within the next few days.
