OTTAWA — A Wellsville man has filed for Franklin County sheriff. Michael Reed filed as a Republican and will stage a primary challenge to Sheriff Jeff Richards. It will be one of two contested local races in Franklin County this fall. Retired wellsville principal randall renoud is challenging long-time Franklin County Commissioner Con Stottlemire for the Republican nomination for the 5th District seat.
