OTTAWA — Because of the windstorm early Monday morning, Ottawa public works department crews will collect limbs from private yards at curbside. Crews will make one pass through the city, beginning Monday. This will allow home owners and residents the weekend to clean up their yards. However, the city asks that limbs be moved to the street as soon as possible. To make collection easier and to limit possible damage to yards, stack the limbs parallel to and as close to the street curb as possible. Pickups cannot be made in alleys because of space limitations.
