OTTAWA–The Franklin County Commission met in special session Thursday and voted 5-0 to hire Don Moler as Interim County Administrator to replace Lisa Johnson, who is leaving at the end of June. Moler is the former Executive Director of the League of Kansas Municipalities. He will be on a part time basis, and will travel from his Topeka home 3 days a week, and also be available by telephone and email. His salary is put at around $4000 a month. He also will be available by telephone and email.
