OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received reports of burglaries over the weekend. A Rantoul couple reported Saturday evening that someone burglarized their RV and shed on their property in the 2200 block of Oregon Terrace south of Imes. The loss was estimated at more than $1,400. A 58-year-old Pomona man reported Sunday afternoon someone entered his barn in the 3500 block of Idaho Road north of Richter and stole a Briggs and Stratton motor from of his tiller. The loss was estimated at $100. A 24-year-old Ottawa woman reported Sunday afternoon a burglary in the 2400 block of Riley Road north of Ottawa. The estimated loss was a little more than $1,000.
