OTTAWA — It will be red, white and blue as the Ottawa City Band blows the roof off the City Park bandstand tonight at 7:30. The band will perform an Independence Day-themed set entitled “Made in America.” The band will perform all the popular periennial patriotic hits including John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever,” and “National Emblem” by E.E. Bagley, said band director Mark Paquette. The band will perform most of tonight’s concert 8:30 p.m. Friday, prior to the Ottawa Jaycees’ annual Independence Day fireworks display at Forest Park. The concerts are free. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets.
