POMONA — A late Saturday night fire destroyed a house in the 400 block of Kingman Road south of Pomona. The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, assistant Pomona fire chief Alan Radcliffe said. Firefighters from Pomona, Williamsburg and LOH were at the scene about eight hours, he said. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There was no immediate estimate of the loss although Radcliffe said the loss was total. Franklin County Red Cross were helping the family with temporary lodging and other needs, he said.
