OTTAWA–The Ottawa Library may keep closing at 1:00, instead of 5:00 on Saturday. Library Managers had proposed expanding the Saturday hours to 5pm, but during budget discussions with the Ottawa City Commission, it was made clear that Commissioners want the Library to look for cost-cutting areas. The proposed expanded Saturday hours are likely to be one of those areas.
