OTTAWA — Ottawa public works department crews are picking up fallen limbs and broken branches from private yards. Crews are only making only one pass through the city. However, the city said the pickup is taking longer than expected because crews are finding so much debris from the recent windstorm. The city said if your debris has not been collected by Aug. 4, call the public works department. The city is also allowing citizens to haul their own brush and limbs to the salt storage shed building location at the intersection of North Cherry and Enterprise Road in the industrial park for free. A sign will be posted at the dump site area.
