OTTAWA–If you want to renew a half cent sales tax that was passed in 2006, you’ll most likely get your chance. The Ottawa City Commission is discussing forming a task force to launch a campaign for renewal of the sales tax in 2016, the year it is scheduled to expire. The original tax was passed in 2006.
