PRINCETON — Two people were taken to Ransom memorial hospital following a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Princeton. Mary Harris, 79, Richmond, was driving west on John Brown Road and tried to turn left onto US. 59 but pulled in front of Robert Morse, 49, Centerville, who hit her, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. Both were wearing seatbelts. The accident happened about an hour before a fatal accident that killed 19-year-old Casey Butterfield, Garnett, on U.S. 59 just north of Princeton.
