OTTAWA–It won’t happen right away, but in a few years there could be a park especially for teenagers in Ottawa. At the Ottawa City Commission Study Session, Commissioners were told that a study is under way at making the area between 15th and 17th streets west of the Prairie Spirit Trail into a teen park. Attractions could include a skateboard path and basketball courts. The project would cost around $150,000 and take 2 or 3 years to complete. A lot of fundraising would have to take place to make the park a reality.
