GARNETT — “The Kansas Wheelmen” of Lawrence will roll into Wednesday night’s meeting of the Friends of the Prairie Spirit Trail at the Santa Fe Depot in Garnett. The Wheelmen will give demonstrations of their love of the heritage of American cycling, and promote the restoration and riding of early bicycles manufactured before 1918. An ice cream social will follow. The meeting is open to the public. The Friends business meeting is 6:30 p.m., with the Wheelmen at 7 and the ice cream social to follow.
