OTTAWA – Franklin County deputies worked some minor injury accidents prior to the weekend. Michelle Schroeder, 37, Topeka, was driving north in the 2700 block of Alabama Terrace southwest of Pomona when she lost control of her SUV Friday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said. The vehicle went off road and overturned in the ditch. Debra Blodgett, 61, Grantville, was driving her Jeep south in the 4600 block of U.S. 59 north of Ottawa early Friday morning when she fell asleep and hit a guardrail. Angela Aguilar, 46, Pomona, was driving her compact car south on I-35 near Wellsville Thursday night when she struck the rear end of a compact car driven by William Bandenberg, 19, Lawrence, the sheriff’s office said. His car left the road and rolled one time. Both occupants of the escort were examined by Franklin County EMS and both refused further treatment.
