OTTAWA – You might outrun a police car, but you can’t outrun a police radio. Two Garnett men were booked into the Franklin County jail Sunday evening following a chase involving Ottawa police and Franklin County deputies. Ottawa police said they tried to pull over a driver who took off. That pursuit was called off but deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description given by Ottawa police and another chase resumed. That chase ended in the 1900 block of Eisenhower Road north of Princeton. Chevy Crook, 19, was booked for for suspicion of felony fleeing and eluding, and felony obstruction of the legal process. Harley Crook, 23, was booked for for suspicion of felony obstruction of the legal process. The sheriff’s office said a third person in the vehicle escaped.
