The reception will be followed by a screening of the film, “Honor Diaries,” at the Crown Uptown Theater, in Wichita. Raza is an expert on honor violence committed against girls and women, and one of the leading activists featured in the film. She is also the author of the book “Their Jihad…Not My Jihad,” and president of the Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow. “Honor Diaries” was the first film to break the silence about violence and discrimination against women in honor-based societies.
