OTTAWA — After Monday morning’s canvass by Franklin County commissioners of last week’s primary election, former West Franklin school board member Sherry Fritz-Harris was put on the April 7 general election ballot for the West Franklin at-large Position 7. She’ll challenge top vote-getter Rusty Ecord for the position. At the end of the crowded primary last week, she was in a tie at 111 votes with Bruce Rockhold for the second slot. During the canvass, she picked up three more provisional votes, which broke the tie. Other candidates in the race were Gene Hirt and Perrie Swank. There was one other primary last week and that was for the Central Heights school board Position 1 race in the Princeton area. Lori Cotter and Patty Medina were the two top vote-getters.
