OTTAWA — The Ottawa Chamber of Commerce’s legislative coffee will return Saturday morning at 10 at Ottawa City Hall. The coffee skipped a month to wait until the legislature went back into session this week, said chamber president John Coen. Sen. Caryn Tyson and Rep. Blaine Finch will attend. Rep. Kevin Jones has indicated he won’t attend Saturday’s coffee, Coen said. The Legislative Action Committee, which stages the coffee, has sent some advanced questions to the legislators to ensure that other important issues besides the budget and public education funding, which will likely dominate the coffee, he said. The coffee is free and open to the public, who are invited to ask the legislators questions, and will take approximately one hour.
