POMONA LAKE — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said the flood gates at Pomona Lake have been opened wider. The discharge rate was increased this morning to 2,500 cubic feet per second from 2,000 cubic feet per second. Because of recent heavy rains, the lake levels have been about 15 feet higher than normal.
