OTTAWA–If everything goes as planned, a police officer writing you out a speeding ticket may be a thing of the past. Ottawa Police Chief Dennis Butler says if his department is allowed to adopt a new computer system, it will enable officers to do tickets on computer without having to resort to a paper ticket.
