TOPEKA — A 61-year-old Scranton motorcyclist was killed Friday night when he ran into the back of a semi-truck trailer south of Topeka. Charles Tevis was going south on Topeka Boulevard near Forbes Field when his Harley-Davidson ran into the back of the trailer, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s office said. Tevis wasn’t wearing a helmet, the sheriff’s office said.
