PAOLA — An Olathe man was killed as a result of an ATV accident in rural Miami County Saturday evening. Daniel Wickoren, 43, was riding an ATV on the trails by Wea Creek in approximately the 17000 block of West 295th Street northeast of Paola when the ATV slipped off the trail and turned over, trapping him, Miami County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Talcott said. Wickoren was taken to the Miami County Medical Center in Paola, where he later died from his injuries, Talcott said. A week ago, Michael Everhart, 30, Paola; died as a result of falling from a golf cart in Paola.
