OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department received theft reports Friday before the weekend. A 47-year-old Lane man reported that someone had entered onto his property in the 4500 block of Finney Road north of Lane and stole scrap items. The loss was estimated at $320. A 65-year-old Wellsville man reported someone had stole a blue, 2002 Polaris 325 Trail Boss ATV from an unlocked equipment shed on his property in the 4800 block of Utah Road west of Wellsville. The loss was estimated at $4,500. An Ottawa couple reported someone stole $250 worth of jewelry, $54 in cash and several prescription drugs from their home in the 2600 block of Georgia Road south ofR. Their son told deputies he believed a female friend may have taken the items. Officers were looking for her.
