OTTAWA — After being closed two days for repairs, the Forest Park swimming pool was scheduled to reopen today after the pool’s chemicals were balanced.   The pool was closed Monday after a piece of concrete popped out of the floor. The pool had to be drained low enough to repair the area, Ottawa public works director Michael Haeffele said.  Workers made some minor cuts around the area and used a fast-setting water plug to patch the bad spot, he said.  The patch cured overnight Monday evening despite harsh winds and thunderstorms that hit the Ottawa area, he said.  The pool was refilled Tuesday.
