KINGMAN — This deer collision Monday night slightly injured the vehicle’s owner.  In this case, the vehicle was an airplane.  Patrick Livingston, 63, Pratt, was trying to take off from the Kingman Airport in central Kansas, when a deer ran out in front of the plane, the Kansas Highway Patrol said.  The deer struck the left front tire and tore it off, causing the plane go off the runway and flip over.  Livingston drove himself to the Kingman Medical Center, where he was treated for minor injuries.  It was the second airplane crash in Kansas in four days.  An Axtell man was injured when his crop-duster airplane crashed in western Jackson County about two miles east of Emmett Friday morning, the highway patrol said.  Curt Strathman, 28, was flying west when his Grumman G-164 Ag Cat lost altitude and struck the ground, then flipped onto its top.  He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital.
